LEGAL BACKGROUND

Mr. Nicola began as sole practitioner in 1982 in Atlantic City, NJ. In 1991 he opened a second law office in Philadelphia, PA where his primary emphasis was on personal injury litigation.  In 1999 his law firm assumed responsibility for debt collection for a consortium of five hospitals. Since the hospitals were reluctant to sue their patients, the focus on securing payments of medical bills

was through health insurance carriers, PIP and 1^st Party Benefit insurers, workers compensation insurance companies and private attorneys representing injured plaintiffs. 

Since 2009 he has concentrated much of his efforts on saving his clients’ homes from mortgage foreclosures and Sheriff’s sales. The law firm continues in General Practice with focus on mortgage defense, real estate transactions and creditors’ rights with continued interest in Criminal Defense and Family Law.
